There are many ways to live this hobby. Some find their moment of escape painting miniatures, others devour Warhammer novels, and plenty enjoy imagining campaigns, characters, and worlds that keep growing long after the miniatures go back in the case.

inHobby.gg exists for all of them. We want to create a space where reading about Warhammer and tabletop games feels as enjoyable as sitting down to plan a new campaign. A place where the content takes centre stage, not the distractions that so often take over the internet.

Reading without the noise

We’re used to pages packed with ads, autoplaying videos, pop-ups, and designs that seem to compete for attention more than they help you read.

We prefer the opposite.

We want a clean, fast, and comfortable site, where you can find what you’re looking for thanks to navigation organised by systems and content types. Clear typography, lightweight pages, and articles written to be enjoyed at your own pace.

The hobby as a story

We’ve always had a soft spot for that way of approaching the hobby that puts characters, worlds, and campaigns at the heart of the experience.

We like imagining why an army is fighting, how its heroes evolve, or what consequences an unexpected victory might have. We’re passionate about narrative games, campaigns that leave scars on the map, and those moments nobody planned but everyone still remembers years later.

It may be a vision with a certain Oldhammer flavour, where personality and narrative carried as much weight as the miniatures themselves. Not out of nostalgia, but because we believe that way of enjoying the hobby still has plenty to offer.

Optimism over controversy

We live in a time when everything seems destined to become an argument. Every release creates sides, every change sparks conflict, and the noise ends up drowning out what actually brings us together.

At inHobby, we want to take a different path.

That doesn’t mean giving up opinion or critical analysis. It means trying to do it with respect, context, and genuine enthusiasm for a hobby that has sparked the imagination of millions of people for decades.

We believe it’s possible to talk about what we love and what could be better without turning every conversation into a fight.

An independent project

We’re not a large newsroom or a news aggregator.

We’re an independent project built by people who enjoy the hobby and believe there’s still room to write with care, pay attention to the details, and offer context instead of chasing the easy click.

Every article you read here will be written with that philosophy: to offer something useful, interesting, or simply enjoyable to read.

A community we want to build

If you’re reading these lines, you’re already part of this adventure.

For now, we’ve decided not to add a comment system. We’d rather put our effort into building a fast, stable, and pleasant site before opening a space we can’t look after properly.

That doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear from you. Quite the opposite. We’re already looking at different ways to encourage participation and conversation so the community can share opinions, ideas, and experiences in a healthy, constructive way.

We want inHobby to grow alongside the people who read it. Most likely, the conversation will move to our social media or a Discord server. We’ll keep you posted.

The reading experience doesn’t end with the design.
